Requesting Feedback For Your Blog
Recently, I found myself reflecting on all the posts I’ve been writing. It got me thinking — how do I really know what’s working and what isn’t without actual feedback? Sure, I could rely on views, but that only tells part of the story. Sometimes, quality content doesn’t get the attention it deserves simply because it hasn’t reached the right audience, and that can skew the perception of what’s truly resonating. Beyond that, it’s tough to pinpoint exactly which aspects of my blog are strong and which need improvement without an outside perspective.
And that’s where I’m at right now — trying to figure out how to get feedback on my blog, so if you’re in the same boat, you can hopefully use this strategy to get some answers too. Sometimes, it’s as simple as asking for help when you have a problem, as I’m doing in this post, and more often than not, people are happy to help and offer solutions.
A Message for My Readers
Hey everyone,
So, a few months ago (about 3-4 months), I took the plunge and started a blog. My blog is primarily focused on improving yourself and split into the following sections; Self-Improvement, Tools & Tech, Health & Fitness, Business, and Travel & Food. I’ve been pretty consistent, posting once a week (sometimes twice), and now that I’ve built up a bit of content, I’m looking for some honest feedback.
Here’s where I could use your help.
I’d love to know what you think about my blog so far—whether it’s the topics, the layout, or even the writing style.
-
- Is there anything that stands out to you, either good or bad?
- Are there topics I’ve covered that you find more engaging than others?
- I’m trying to figure out if I should lean into certain themes or maybe even niche down a bit more to focus on what resonates the most.
- Do the titles seem engaging?
- Is the homepage inviting, or could it use some tweaking?
If you have a moment, I’d appreciate you taking a look at my blog overall. I know it’s still early days, but I feel like this is a good point for me to pause and assess where I’m at, now that I’ve written a handful of posts across different topics.
I totally understand that building a blog takes time, and it might be a while before I hit my stride or start reaching a bigger audience. That said, I’m open to hearing any feedback you have—whether it’s about the variety of topics (maybe it’s too scattered?), the way I structure my posts, or even if something just feels off with the overall design or flow of the site. I’d genuinely appreciate any and all thoughts.
If you feel inclined to drop a comment or even just a quick note, that would mean the world to me.
Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to check it out!
All the best,
Newt
